Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity and Finiteness of Hilbert functions

I will give a review on recent bounds on the Catelnuovo-Mumford
regularity of projective schemes, and then show that the number of Hilbert
functions associated to equidimensional reduced schemes with given degree
and dimension is bounded.
