Applications of ECH to dynamics and topology in dimension 3

Résumé :
Embedded contact homology (ECH) is a Floer type invariant of 3-manifolds
built out of the auxiliary data of a contact structure and a Reeb vector
field. We will survey interactions between the various structures
arising from ECH theory and the dynamics of Reeb vector fields.
In particular, joint works with Pierre Dehornoy, Umberto Hryniewicz and
Ana Rechtman on the one hand, and Paolo Ghiggini and Ko Honda on the
other will be discussed.
