6.45.6 Multiplication of elements of each column of a matrix: product
The product command can multiply the
elements of the columns of a matrix
(see Section 6.40.27 for other things product can do).

product takes one argument:
A, a matrix.
- product(A) returns the list whose elements are the
product of the elements of each column of the matrix A.
