Many people helped me during the creation and diffusion of ALGB
:
- all anonymous ftp sites administrators, particularly those of
puccini.ujf-grenoble.fr (André Voutier), ftp.funet.fi, cbs.cis.com,
hplyot.obspm.fr, hpcvbbs.cv.hp.com and wuarchive.wustl.edu,
- I used the following softwares to create
ALGB
:
the EQSTK
and JAVA
stack displays ([9], [13]),
the JAZZ
debugger ([10]), various compilers
(JAZZ
, the HP
tools ([1]),
the RPL
based tools ([12]) and eventually the GNU tools
([11]).
- I looked at the following book and softwares:
[6], [2], [5], [3], [4],
[7], [8]. One of the best reference is certainly
[3] and references therein. M. Heiskanen WWW-homespage has a lot
of interesting math links.
- Some of my students and netsurfers tested various versions of
ALGB
and encouraged me to improve it: particularly
Christophe Burdin, Craig Clifford, Jerome Coss, David Czinczenheim,
Ludovic Dumaine, Frederic Hermann, Stephane Monboisset, Lionel Pilot,
Eric Saya, Quan Tong Duc, Samy Venin ... Special thanks to Gilles Virone
who showed me first what an HP28/48 is able to do.
