title: On Curves of small degree on a rational normal scroll

Abstracts: 
In the talk we present some homological properties of integral curves on a 
rational normal scroll. In particular we are interested in curves of 
small degree. As one of our applications it follows that a non-rational and 
non-arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay curve with `small' degree is arithmetically 
Buchsbaum with invariant 1. A further approach says something about the 
Hartsorne-Rao module of curves of maximal regularity. This provides some 
structural results about the free resolution of its coordinate ring.
