Welcome to the 28th Journées Arithmétiques JA2013 Grenoble, France.


This International Conference, devoted to Number Theory and its interactions, will take place on the University Campus of St-Martin d'Hères, on the east part of the City of Grenoble, France,

July 1 - 5, 2013.

We hope that you will enjoy the mathematical experience of these Journées and the joys of Grenoble during the summer time, as well as the surroundings of the city, as capital of the Dauphiné Region and the Alps, and important universitary center turned to the future.




A mathematical heritage by J. Martinet :
the first Journées Arithmétiques have been held at Grenoble in 1960, and are now held each four years in France, in alternance in another country of the European Community.


The presence of J.-B. Fourier at Grenoble will be evoked in an exhibition (posters) in the DLST the whole week during the meeting.

The Morning sessions are devoted to the talks of the invited speakers, in the building "AMPHITHEATRE LOUIS WEIL", or "AMPHI WEIL", or "LOUIS WEIl Lecture Room", address :

Five parallel afternoon sessions will welcome the contributed talks of the participants. They will be held in the buiding "Département Licence Sciences et Technologies", or "DLST", located 300 meters far from the AMPHI WEIL, address :

The Sessions of the Summer School "Number Theory and Dynamics" continue in the AMPHI A2 of the DLST as afternoon sessions.

The Poster Sessions are organized in the DLST during the afternoons.


The Grand Public talk will be given by Professor Emeritus Yuri MANIN (Max-Planck Institut BONN, Allemagne)
