Getting to Condillac Residence by public transport :
From Grenoble trainstation, take tramway line B (map - shedule) heading to "Gières - Plaine des sports" and get off at "Condillac - Universités" stop. The residence is located at 200 meters.
The Institut Fourier is located 5/10 minutes walking far from the residence. (see MAP).
Rooms description :
Furnished single room of about 9 m2 with shower and toilet, (no double room), bedding including blanket (no pillow) Collective kitchen on each floor. Towels, toilet soap, toilet paper and kitchen ustensils are not provided, no refrigerator, no microwave in the kitchen. No cafeteria.
ONLY ACCOMODATION IN STUDENT RESIDENCE IS COVERED BY THE SUMMER SCHOOL.
If you wish to be housed in hotel, you will find a list of hotels here or on the website of the Tourism Office.
LUNCHES
You can reserve lunches (starter, main course and dessert) at the Diderot university refectory (770 avenue centrale, 38400 Saint-Martin d’Hères, Tél. : 04.76.82.40.80)
Lunches must be taken per week, reservation is compulsory and must be done when registrating. Lunches will be paid at the same time as registration fees.
Otherwise : you can have snacks in campus cafeterias (sandwich, panini, salad). Payment by cash.
REGISTRATION FEES
Total fees (registration fees + lunches) will be paid during the summer school. Payment by cash or cheque.
Financial support
Housing expenses in STUDENT RESIDENCE ONLY are covered by the Summer School.
Meals and travel expenses must be paid by the participants.
Miscellaneous
Hike during the weekends : A hike is planned during one of the weekends. Transportation to the mountains by bus will be organized and is free. Nevertheless, you should bring your own food and drinks (there are supermarkets near campus). Details will be announced during the conference. There is no need to bring heavy hiking boots, but you need good walking shoes.
Weather : Although variable usually is hot (+/- 90°F ; +/- 27°C) with thunderstorms at night. Light summerwear suffices, but don’t forget rainclothes (and a sweater for the mountains !).
