In the presence of a variable magnetic field, the Weyl quantization has to be
modified by cohomological phase factors of magnetic origin. The resulting
gauge-covariant pseudodifferential theory will be presented and the
semiclassical limit, defined by a magnetic symplectic form, will be exhibited.
